Fakro Roofwindows are a complete range of aluminium windows giving you new possibilities of lettting more daylight into your home. Extract new living areas from for example attics and earlier unused, dark spaces.

About Fakro Roofwindows

Roof windows and fixed frames with various hinge solutions, features and combinations, and accessories for a safe installation. Everything to make it possible for you to create your own solution. Aluminium windows, frame of wood and aluminium exterior. Insulating ability / U-value from 0.9 to 1.4.

Specification:

  • Window frame and sash are made of glued laminated and fingerjointed  pine that have been given a rotting protective vacuum impregnation. The wooden parts are coated with three layers of high-quality 2-component polyurethane paint. The roof side is aluminium cladded.
  • triple-glazed insulation glass unit with energy glass. Toughened exterior glass for protection against weather and accidental stepping through the window.
  • Noise reduction Rw = 32-35 dB.
  • Insulation: U-value 0,9-1,4.. U-value= insulation capability, the lower the value the better the insulation.
  • Frame depth 130 mm
  • Quality- and environmental certificates: TopSafe (protection against accidental stepping through the window) TÜV, and CE-labelling. Our products undergo extensive checks and tests in our own lab to ensure the highest quality.
  • Strengthened against burglary through longer screws in fittings which are screwed in an angle for better fixing in frame and sash, strengthening of receivers and metal profiles strengthening the sash.

On the default model the aluminium-clad exterior is powder coated in RAL 7022. Powder coating in other RAL colours is optional. The warranty does not cover light fastness for other colours than white, nor damage caused by increased heat absorption.

By default the inside is painted white (RAL 9010) or lacquered, other RAL-colours available as an option.

The handle on the roof window is placed on the lower part of the windows which makes it easy accessible. The window has two ventilation modes. The metal strengthened receiver and locking details make burglary attempts with tools harder.
