Certificates & quality

Products from Elitfönster are quality- and environmentally labelled by various independent organizations. Quality tests include function, insulation, air and rain resistance, intrusion protection, fire resistance and sound insulation.

Secured By Design

Secured by Design is a quality standard for burglary safe products developed by the police authorities in Britain by ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers). Elitfönster currently have tested and approved a number of products of SBD. The tests include load test on glass, fixings and locking points and attack test with different tools.

In the product family Elit Complete Alu our reversible windows and patio doors are certified under Secured By Design. Other products that are certified are: Elit Complete Trä, Elit Extreme and Elit Passiv.
